It was so fun to see almost half of our team at assessments and swimsuit fittings last Sunday! We had 15 new Mustangs pass their assessment (yay!) and a couple more who were reallllly close and will be back in April!

Swimsuit Fittings

IMPORTANT: Everyone (new and returning) gets new swimsuits this year, so if you did not come last Sunday you must get fitted for a new suit.  Our final opportunity will be during our last assessment -- Sunday, April 24 at BVSW 6:30-8pm. (You can also walk into the Swim Quik store -- new location 8693 Bluejacket -- anytime to get fitted before May 1).  You will not be able to swim in meets without at Mustang suit.

Swimsuits and Spiritwear 

If you have been fitted and know your size, you may order your suit from our Swim Quik site.  There are also lots of spirit wear items -- shirts, hats, towels, bags (we highly recommend the swim backpack since most of our kids ride their bikes to the pool!). You may also purchase swim caps from this site.  (Caps are not required, but if you do wear one it must be a Mustang cap.)

Let's Help A Mustang Family!

Many of you know Mustang dad, Ben Mizrahi, has been hospitalized with COVID complications for a couple of months. He is making some amazing strides -- and (as of yesterday) had been off a ventilator for 36 hours straight!  You can follow his Caring Bridge site for updates.  As he works toward recovery, Carrie is spending more and more time at the hospital to help.  If the Mustangs could fill the Mizrahi's Meal Train in April, it would help this busy family so much!  You can cook, order take out or even Door Dash to be delivered -- they are not picky! (See Meal Train for specific instructions/preferences.)

Ben is a huge Mustang supporter -- he has sponsored our team every summer for many years. Our favorite memory of him was last summer when we had a meet spectator suffering from heat exhaustion nearly pass out.  Ben (and several other doctors from our team) immediately jumped in to help this sweet woman.  She was miserable and disoriented, and within five minutes Ben had her inside, sitting down and laughing at his "dad" jokes.  He is the best and we can't wait to see him (and Carrie, Ava, Nathan & Leah) back at the pool!

April 1 - last day to cancel registration without a penalty. (If you swimmer does not pass assessments we will refund in full!)

May 1 - last day to buyout volunteer requirements ($500).
