As usual, Mother Nature is giving us a run for our money this week! Never fear, we always have a plan B.  We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow at BVSW!

Practice at BVSW for Monday & Tuesday

Since our pool just opened, it's pretty darn cold. With thunderstorms in the forecast tomorrow morning and very cool temps on Wednesday, we’ve decided to practice indoors. Practice times are the same. There will NOT be optional Dives & Turns practice at 11:30. Swimmers should enter in the upper deck/door and meet their coaches. Parents are welcome to sit in the spectator area or drop-off/pickup.

Please make sure your swimmer has:

• Swimsuit & Towel
• Goggles
• Water
• Everything labeled!

We have rescheduled the foam party to Friday, June 24. We will make a call on Thursday practice location (which also looks chilly in the AM) on Wednesday!

Meet the Coaches & Swim Lessons

Introducing the best coaching team around! All are returning coaches/swimmers...and we couldn't be happier to have this team on board!

Several of our coaches offer swim lessons at the Mills Farm pool.  You can contact them directly to schedule. These lessons can be super helpful in giving your swimmer extra confidence and skills!

Mustangs Exceptional Needs Swimmers

We are so excited to welcome our first swimmer with exceptional needs this summer. The Mustangs wish to be an inclusive team to our resident swimmers with these special needs. We understand that these swimmers may not be able to make our time standards due to physical and cognitive differences; we do, however, require they can swim the length of the pool independently and safely. We are committed to working with each family to make the accommodations needed to welcome these swimmers and give them a true Mustang experience. We also believe ALL swimmers will benefit from this inclusion and are excited to welcome our first swimmer in this category this summer – Haylee Cordes (pictured below with siblings Luke, Grace and Ben). Haylee has been preparing for several years to be able to swim the length of the pool safely and we think she is going to be an amazing addition to our team. We hope you will cheer her on in the pool!

Check Your Website Access

Now is an excellent time to make sure you can login to our website with the user ID and password you created. This becomes VERY important next week for declaring meet attendance and event preferences and signing up for volunteer jobs. There is a "Dummy Meet" on the calendar where you can go practice both of these things. If you have any problems, reach out to Lindsay or Heidi!
