We are settling into our groove, and ready to face our second opponent this week – the Gators of Nottingham By The Green!

This is a HOME meet on Wednesday. Swimmers arrive at 4:30 for warm-ups. Meet begins at 5:30. Forecast is a HOT 95 degrees.

Because of the extreme heat, we recommend your swimmers stay inside prior to the meet. Bring a large jug of water and check-in to make sure they are drinking. (Cooling towels are awesome too.)

Volunteer signups for this week’s meet open at 8pm tonight (Sunday) on our website. Volunteer spots typically go quickly the first 2-3 meets, then slow down a bit (until we are begging for volunteers for the last meet and the end-of-season party!) There are plenty of volunteer spots for everyone.

Mustang Market

Swimmers made their first trip to the Market last Friday. They earn Mustang Money for attendance at practice each day, and can choose to save or spend it on Fridays. Thanks to volunteers Shawna Levy and Angela Jones for coordinating, former Mustang coach Kelsey Faubion for working and Jamie McGowan for being chief purchaser for the Market. It’s a huge endeavor but an awesome highlight for the kids!

Teen Night

Our second teen night is tomorrow night. Dinner will be from Minsky's -- schedule as follows:

7:15-8:15: 13/14s practice (followed by dinner/movie)

8:15-9: 15-18 practice (followed by dinner/movie)

Your teens should be getting this info in their GroupMe, but we always like to let parents know too!

Our personalized caps are finally in! If you ordered them, we will have them at practice this week -- feel free to have your swimmer ask Lindsay or Heidi! We'll also have them at the meet on Wednesday.
