Reminders for BOTH new and returning swimmers below!

NEW SWIMMERS - Assessments

We have 30 new swimmers on the team this year ranging from age 5 to age 14! All new swimmers are required to demonstrate they can meet our age group time requirements for freestyle and backstroke at an assessment in the spring. Assessment dates/times are:

Sunday March 26, 6:30-8pm, BVSW

Sunday April 30, 6:30-8pm, BVSW

Swimmers may choose one or come to both assessments if needed. They can come anytime during the hour and a half window, and may try as many times as needed. If your swimmer is particularly anxious about assessments, let us know -- we've learned a few ways to make it easier for them! Swimmers who are not able to make assessment times will need to keep practicing until next year.

RETURNING SWIMMERS - GET YOUR SUITS!

We will getting new team suits this year. All swimmers, new and returning, will need new suits. Swimmers may come to either assessment (March 26 or April 30) to be fitted and purchase the team suit or go to Swim Quik on their own. All team suits need to be ordered by May 1 to ensure they arrive in time for our first meet. All swimmers must have a team suit to swim in meets. 

If you already know your suit size and don't need to be fitted (risky...we don't recommend!) you can order your suit online.

You can also order personalized swim caps from the online store. Swim caps are not required, but they do cut drag and make you faster! If a swim cap is worn, it does have to be a Mustangs cap.
