Volunteer Credit Opportunities
Look at these happy volunteers!!! Each Mustang family is responsible for earning six volunteer credits by working at Mustang swim meets. (More on our volunteer requirements here.) We have a limited number of opportunities to earn volunteer credit outside of our regular sign-ups during the season. The benefit of these is that most do not require you to work a hot, sweaty swim meet! These are first-come, first-served – sign up here:

Here's a quick summary of open positions:
Computer Operators (need 3) - Work in the air conditioning and still see the meet through the windows! Operate the computer timing system with a team inside the clubhouse at our home meets. Training provided (and required). Should be available for at least 2 of 3 home meets. FULFILLS 2 CREDITS PER MEET WORKED.
End-of-Season Awards - Order award plaques and print best times certificates for swimmers. Organize awards for distribution at the banquet. FULFILLS 1 CREDIT.
End-of-Season Banquet Coordinator – Plans and executes the end-of-season celebration. This includes food, decorations, setup and teardown. Planning for this typically begins early in the season. FULFILLS 6 CREDITS
End-of-Season Banquet Committee – Helps coordinator with a few specific tasks on the days before or on celebration day. FULFILLS 1 CREDIT
Home Meet Coordinator – Team of two responsible for planning and leading home meet setup and teardown on the pool deck. This job requires some physical labor (lifting, moving, etc.) and managing volunteers. The benefit is that you’re never working during a meet. FULFILLS 2 CREDITS PER MEET WORKED.
Ribbons Coordinator - manages overall ribbon inventory during the season, stays at the end of each meet to review and bring home ribbon labels, meets Ribbon volunteers on Thursday morning distribute ribbons. FULFILLS 1 CREDIT PER WEEK WORKED. (Must be available for majority of Thursday mornings during the season 7:30-9:30am) Benefit is that you’re never working during a meet.
Teen Night Coordinator 13/14s -Teen movie nights occur weekly during the season on Mondays from 8-10pm. Teens participate in a practice, followed by dinner and show. Coordinators work together to plan, setup and supervise. FULFILLS 1 CREDIT PER TEEN NIGHT WORKED.
Stroke & Turn Judge – Serve as an official during our meets, monitoring and recording swimmer disqualifications. Training provided, some swim experience is helpful. Parents can do this for volunteer points (2 per meet) or anyone over 18 can do for $75 per meet. Training is required. FULFILLS 2 CREDITS PER MEET WORKED
