Week 3: We're In The Groove

Mills Farm vs. Deer Creek (at Home) - June 12
Swimmer Arrival: 4:20pm
Swimmer Warm-Up: 4:30pm
Meet Begins: 5:30pm
Meet Theme: ORANGE OUT (Wear as much orange as possible, orange bandanas will be given at the door until we run out!)
Swimmers’ arms should be marked and names on back shoulder before arriving.
Concessions will be:
- Chick-fil-A food truck
- Queen of Acorns Cocktails/Mocktails
- Paige's Shaved Ice
- Concession Stand: fruit, nuts, candy, popsicles, chips and drinks
The food trucks do take credit cards, but the Mills Farm stand (for all other items) is cash only!
Race Etiquette
Sharing one more time…MOST of our swimmers did this last week, but give them a little reminder!
- Stay in the pool until every swimmer in the heat has finished. (For relays, this only applies to the last swimmer.)
- Say “good swim” or “good job” or fist bump swimmers next to you – they may or may not return the sentiment, and that’s ok!
Not all teams will do this, but it’s a Mills Farm tradition and we love it!
Meet Parking
We had a few complaints from neighbors around the pool last week. If you can walk, ride, scooter or golf cart to the pool – it would sure help save some parking for our guest team. If you do drive a car, please pay attention to ‘No Parking’ signs!
League Top 20
The league publishes a Top 20 for each gender/age group and stroke every week. Our team has a LOT of swimmers on this list! Feel free to bookmark – new updates usually come out on Thursdays.
Teen Night – Monday at 7:30PM
All teen swimmers are welcome for dinner, relays and water polo at the pool! Dinner is Waldo Pizza this week!
VIP Seating Auction for Wednesday’s Meet
