SO MUCH going on this week...culminating with our last home meet, Senior Night and GLOW party after! Truly one of our favorite parts of the season!

Immediately after the freestyle relay, DJ Mike will turn the music up and we'll throw a zillion beach balls in the pool. Kids get 30 minutes to party it up and celebrate the last home meet! IMPORTANT: Kids cannot stay without a parent present. Thank you for understanding!
Professional Action Shots at Wednesday's Meet
Swim photographer Wes Richardson will be at the meet on Wednesday taking professional photos of swimmers. (He will also be at champs, but many families prefer photos at our home pool.) He can only photograph one swimmer per heat, so a sign-up will be released as soon as the heat sheet is out on Wednesday. (It will come from Lindsay via email!, usually sometime between 1-2pm) You won't be sorry to have these pics -- he charges a $15 pre-payment which can be applied to any photo(s) you order. See some pics from last year here! (Pro tip: Breast and fly give the best opportunity for photos, but he does a great job with all!)
RSVP for SSA Championships - Friday & Saturday July 12/13
Our league championships are Friday, July 12 (11 & Up swimmers) and Saturday, July 13 (10 & Under swimmers). All swimmers who participated in at least two meets this season are eligible -- you do not have to "qualify" for champs. We HIGHLY encourage all swimmers to attend; it is really the pinnacle of our season and is so much fun for the kids. For many, it is their first meet in a "professional" swim facility (Shawnee Mission Aquatic Center).
The Champs Meet is now open for RSVP's on our website! Please note you can select events your swimmer is interested in, but coaches will ultimately make these choices based on what is best for the team.
Friday Champs Session (11& Up)
Doors open: 2:30pm for warm-ups (specific times to be assigned)
Meet begins: 4pm
Saturday Champs Session (10 & Under)
Doors open: 8:30am for warm-ups (specific times to be assigned)
Meet begins: 10am
'A Splash of Orange' End-of-Season Party - Sunday, July 14

Teen Night – Monday at 7:30PM @ Verhaeghe Park
All teen swimmers are welcome for COLOR WARS at the park. Coach Jack will be on the grill serving up dinner!
Tween Night – Monday at 7:30PM @ MF Clubhouse
It's our first ever TWEEN night! All 11-12s join us at the clubhouse for Chick-fil-A and sand volleyball! We're so excited to give this group a preview to what it's like to go to teen nights when they're older!

4th of July Week Practice
We DO have practice next week, every day EXCEPT Thursday the 4th. There is no meet on Wednesday night, July 3.
This week is also a great time to come to Dives & Turns as crowds are smaller. Also a great week to do some lessons with our coaches!
