Mustang in Paris: When to watch this week!

Former Mustang Yaseen El-Demerdash begins his journey of Paralympic swim this week in Paris!

Here is his swim schedule for anyone that wants to watch:

You can watch on NBC and Peacock or the Olympics YouTube. Mom (Dina) says Yaseen feels his best chance of making finals is the first race (50 free), but he's focusing on what we always tell our swimmers -- swimming is own personal best -- and letting the rest play out in the pool!

If you haven't had a chance to meet Yaseen, here's a little bit more about his story with Poland Syndrome. He was Mills Farm Mustang for 8 years! When not traveling the world for swim, Yaseen attends the University of Kansas. We are SO excited to cheer for him this week!

WANTED: Mustang Board Member

The Mustangs operate under a Board of Directors, and we're looking for a new Director! We promise, this Board is friendly and fun -- we only meet 4x per year. The Board's primary purpose is to set the strategic direction for the team and team managers, govern the registration and waitlist process, and provide oversight to the budgeting and spending of team fees.

WANTED: Team Manager(s)

Many of you know Heidi stepped from day-to-day manager duties this past summer.  Lindsay is still on board for as long as we need but we think it's smart to begin looking for the next team manager(s) -- as it's helpful to have a year or two "in training". Ideally, it's a pair of people who work well together and can devote a good amount of time to the job for our 6-7 week season, as well as some time planning and getting ready throughout the year. It is truly the most rewarding volunteer position out there!

Please reply/reach out if you're interested in any of these positions. We need your help to keep our Mustangs great!
